Wheeler Road Moses Lake, WA 98837 SUBJECT: 30' X 30' X 12'0" POST FRAME BUILDING FOR BRYAN ST. CLAIR, 2214 S. SONOROA, VERADALE, WA 99037 Dear Brian: This post frame building has been sold to Mr. St. Clair for construction on his lot in Veradale, WA using the standard plans I have provided for Ziegler Lumber Company. The building design is based on 40 PSF roof live (snow) load, 110 MPH wind speed, Exposure B, Seismic Design Category D and 2,000 PSF allowable soil bearing pressure per the 2012 IBC. The building has 10' post spacing and 4:12 roof pitch manufactured trusses. I checked this building for the diaphragm design characteristics from which the standard plan design was generated. The front endwall has a 16' x 10' overhead door and a window. There is sufficient steel sheeting on this endwall to transfer lateral Toads on the sidewall and roof to the base of the building. The rear endwall has no openings. There is sufficient steel sheeting on this endwall to transfer lateral loads on the sidewall and roof to the base of the building. The left sidewall has two windows. The right sidewall has a 3' pass door. Sidewall openings do not change the diaphragm resistance of the building. The standard 40 PSF roof live Toad post frame building plans can be used for construction of this building. Please contact me if you have any additional questions about the design of this building.
