Transportation issues related to Spokane County Engineer
Conditions #4, #9, and #12 have been very difficult to get
resolved and require cooperation of adjacent property owner.
The owner is negotiating with Inland Paper Company to obtain
necessarY access routes to satisfy the conditions. A new plan
(4th within the last year) is under consideration and a copy
is attached. County Engineering has been kept advised and
their input regarding possible solutions has been very helpful.
3. What progress has occurred? What conditions of approval have been completed (such as survey work,
improvements constructed, departmental approvals obtained)? Over the pa s t twe 1 ve
months four redesiqns of potential access routes have been
evaluated for feasibility and impact to sewer and interior
road desiqn. Each desiqn has developed usable ideas toward .
addressinq the conditions. Significant resources continue to
be dedicated to worlcinq with County Enqineers and adjacent
property owners to comply with the conditions. Market interest
in this property is high and the access question is the last
h~rdl~ . '
