MacKay Landscaping Descripition:
Alderwood Landscaping is proposing the following improvements to the landscaping at 8001 South
Riverway Avenue (the MacKay Residence):
Proposed work within the 100 year floodplain:
• Install non -permanent concrete paver pathways, natural granite bench rock
boulders, and low -voltage (GFI protected) night lighting
• Modify existing irrigation system
• Install native grass seed mix to stabilize hillside
• Install natural specimen plantings
• Prune existing plant material
• Install silt fence along river to prevent erosion
• The existing conveyance of the Spokane River shall not be altered in any way.
Hurley Landscaping Descripition:
Alderwood Landscaping is proposing the following improvements to the landscaping at 7815 South
Riverway Avenue (the Hurley Residence):
Proposed work within the 100 year floodplain:
• Install outcropped boulder retaining walls (no vertical walls to exceed 4' in height)
