Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this code shall
be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion
thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this code is
committed, continued or permitted. After notification and upon the conviction
of any such violation such persons shall be punishable by a fine of not more than
two hundred fifty dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than ninety days, or
by both such fine and imprisonment.
This notice is to request the above corrections be made within
days of the date of this notice. Failure to comply may result in
legal action against you.

RE: The Gaffinet residence located at E. 14416 Sunnyside Drive.
Dear Sirs:
On September 24, 1979 a follow-up inspection was made, at the above mentioned
location, to verify that the code violations listed in the correction notice sent
to the property owner on July 16, 1979 were corrected. As of this date, only one
of the three mentioned violations have been corrected. The other two are as follows:
(1) Holes still in the garage fire -wall separation. Section 503 (d) 4, of
-the Uniform Building Code, states that in the one-hour occupancy separation --
between a Group R, Division 3 and M Occupancy, the separation may be
limited to the installation of materials approved for one-hour fire -resist-
ive construction on the garage side.
(2) House is not weather -tight as per Section 1707 (a). All exterior
surfaces, including those under cantilevered areas, must be weather
protected in accordance with this Code.
A reinspection will be made in ten (10) days of the date of this letter, and if
the above mentioned code compliances have not been met, non-compliance will be abated
as provided by Code, including legal action if necessary.
