Four cores were obtained two in the sidewalk and two in the curb line. With the etception of one sample they tested out above the required 3,000-psi strength. One sample tested at only 1690 psi. I spoke with Scott Walters at Budinger & Associates regarding this sample to determine if there Nvas a problem. He indicated that there likely was some type of anomaly in tlle sample to test so low. He indicated that even a poor mix should test to at least 2000 psi. With regard to the seeding of the pond along Valleyway and tltc street signs, I spoke with the client on these issues. He indicated that the pond had been seeded last fall and would like to wait to see if it takes this spring before he re-seeds. I also spoke with Chris Reich with Spokane County Traffic about installing the street signs. He will be handling the installation and billing the client. I have also attached the final mylars and the compaction test results you requested. If you have any further questions please feel free to call. SUB7ECT: Results of Soil Sampling and Laboratory Tesring Repori F'F' 3 DedT MI. Geibeii At your request, we are providing field and laboratory testing services for the subjed project. Our services were limited to the examination, sampling, and testing of sgecific construction components, seiected at your discretion. For this period our involvement has been limited to iaboratory testing of ACP, compaciion testing of subgrade, CSTC, and ACP, and coring/thiclrness testing of ACP and CSTC. We did not get the opportunity to test most of the subgrade and CSTC due to late notification. Maximum densities were determined according to the Modified Proctor (AASHTO T-180) while field densities were determined at random locations to the Nuclear Methods (ASTM D-2922). Results should be considered representative of the lift (8") exposed in the immediate area of our tesi du.-ing our site visit. Laboratory results are presented on the attached Laboratory Sun:mory.
