SIDEWALK PROTECT
Notice is hereby given that the
City of Spokane Valley, Spokane
County, Washington will accept
sealed bids for the Seth Woodard
Sidewalk Project. The project
consists of curb and sidewalk
work; catch basin, drywell and
storm drain work; hot asphalt
paving; pavement marking and
other related work, all in
accordance with the Contract
Provisions and Plans.
Copies of the bid packet including
specifications and plans may be
obtained in PDFformat at
www.cilyolspokanevalleyplanroom.cam.
To be added to the Planhoder's
list, bidders shall download
project files or purchase hard copy
documents. Any addenda to this
project will be sent only to those
listed on the

All bids must be accompanied by
a bid deposit in the form of a
surety band, postal money order,,
cash, cashier's check, or certified
check in an amount equal to 'five
percent (5%) of the amount of the
bid proposed. Failure to furnish a
bid bond in compliance with the
City's bid deposit surety bond
form shall make the bid non-
responsive and cause the bid to
be rejected.
Bids must be submitted in sealed
envelopes addressed to the City
Clerk of the City of Spokane
Valley, 11707 E. Sprague Avenue,
Suite 106, Spokane Valley,
Washington, 99206, and received
not later than June 24th, 2016 at
10:00 AM PDT. Bid openings will
be held immediately thereafter
and read aloud in the City Council
Chambers, Suite 101.
The City of Spokane Valley
reserves the right to waive any
irregularities or informalities and
to reject any or all bids. No bidder
may withdraw his bid after the
time announced for the bid
opening, or before the award and
execution of the contract, unless
the award is delayed for a period
exceeding sixty (60) days.
The City of Spokane Valley, in
accordance with Title VI of the
Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat.
252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 200�d-4,
3535d and 5309, and Title 24,
Code of Federal Regulations,
Department of Housing and Urban
Development, Part 6,
Nondiscrimination in Programs
and Activities Receiving
Assistance Under Title 1 of the
Housing and Community
Development Act of 1974 issued
pursuant to such Act, hereby
notifies all bidders that it will
affirmatively insure that in any
contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvan-
taged business enterprises will be
afforded full opportunity to submit
bids in response to this invitation
and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of race,
color, national origin, religion or
sex in consideration for an award
under any program or activity
funded in whole or in part with .
