RE: Lot 1 , Summer Addition; permit for footings and placing of double wide
home
Dear John:
This letter is to clarify our conversation yesterday concerning your depart-
ment approving a building permit for the placement of a double wide manufactured
home on lot 1 of the preliminary plat of Summer Addition; PE-1472, ZE89-84
(Ag to Ag Sub).
As I told you, I realize that there are certain aspects of this request that
present your department with some dilemmas. The final plat has not been filed,
but the surveyor has completed his survey and has set the lot corners. I also
understand that the sponsor's engineer has submitted all plans for the
various departmental reviews. We have purchased lot 1, contingent upon
the filing of the final plat, to place a double widemanufactured home that
we are presently using for a sales office/showhome on our Terreview
Subdivision in Pullman, In checking with the Building Codes Department, they
will issue a permit to pour footings and place the home on this lot as a sales
office/showhome with the approval of your department. This unit will not
be occupied nor can a septic tank permit be issued until the plat is filed. With
the weather considerations, we would appreciate the cooperation of your
department in approving such an application with the clear understanding that
the home is only to be utilized as a showhouse/sales office, with no occupancy
permitted, or contemplated, until the plat is finalized, and an approved septic
system installed.
We are making this request with the full cognizance and approval of the plat
sponsor, John Kimsey.
