Re: 2nd Amendment to Contract Dated February 25, 2008
Dear Mr. Sheckler:
The City of Spokane Valley would like to execute a Second Amendment with Berk and
Associates, to that agreement executed by the parties on February 25, 2008, concerning the fiscal
and service delivery assessment of Spokane Metro Urban Growth Areas. The City proposes
amending the Contract by requesting that both parties sign this letter.
This 2nd Amendment will add $5,000 to the total contract amount for services described in the
attached scope of work, specifically the line item Fiscal and Service Analysis. The additional
extra services include travel and further fiscal analysis.
Upon execution, this letter will amend the Agreement for Fiscal and Service analysis as follows:
3. Compensation The original compensation amount was $36,250. A 1st
amendment increased the total contract amount to $60,000. This 2nd Amendment will
increase the amount to $65,000. The City now agrees to pay the Consultant the amended
amount of $65,000 as full compensation for everything furnished and done under this
agreement in accordance with provisions outlined in the original Scope of Work, in the
1 sc Amendment, and in this 2nd Amendment (See attachment A).
All other terms of the original agreement remain in full force and effect.
