I am writing relative to case # CUE-49-770 We are
very much opposed to having the mobile home put on
the river's edge. We have heard that the party
said he talked to all the neighbors and that it
was okay with them. He hasn't talked to us and we
are opposed to it. There just isn't enough room
for a trailer there and it certainly would not add
to the environment of fine homes in this area.

Dear Sir:
We were unable to attend the Monday 20th meeting regarding
Case #CUE -49 - 77, trailer as residence and Case # trE - 83 - 77,
rear yard setback.
Mr. Brincken is in *the hospital, and Nir. Smock was out of totim on
business. The Brinckens and the Smocks owm the two parcels on
the river immediately East of the location in question.
We would both like to go on record as being very opposed both to
the trailer as residence and to the rear yard setback.
In regards to the trailer as residence, we were assured by the
Planning Commission that the only reason Mr. Tubbs' trailer was
approved Was because it was a very expensive gable roofed double-
wide. Our argument was that once one trailer Was permitted,9 more
would follow. 'We were assured that this would not be, the case.
NoW, of course, that very thing is happeniag. Mr. Tubbs also in-
dicated that a large amount would be spent on decks and landscap-
ing. This has not been done, so the place looks very bad. It would riot be in the best interest of our neighborhood to add to
the problem. In regards to the rear yard setback, the horizontal dYStance .
dowm to the high water mark is much less th n the required 501.
The lot is verp narrow and long. Whet~.~~ilt our home last
summer we were required to place our septic tank well back
from the river at added expense. It doesn't seem fair that we
should have to abide by all the laws and others do not have to.
We certainly Want to be goad neighbors, but we want to preserve
our neighborhood with a consistent planned and uniforrn growth
of conventionally constructed homes.
