Road Products, Inc. hereby warrants for a period of four years from July 30, 2016 any
installation or product failure of the Plastic Inlay Type C-1 Tape in the areas on Broadway
Avenue shown m green on the attached exhibit.
Upon notification by the City of Spokane Valley, Road Products, Inc. shall replace areas of
failed C-1 inlay tape pavement marking with Plastic Type B pavement marking within 14 days,
weather permitting. Repairs shall be made after 10PM and before 6AM. Road Products, Inc.
shall bear all costs for the pavement marking replacement including material, equipment, labor
and traffic control.

The City of Spokane Valley, Washington, in Spokane County, has awarded to Inland Asphalt Company (Contractor),.as
Principal, a contract for the construction of the project designated as Broadway Street Preservation Proiect,Project No.
0233(the"Project")in Spokane Valley,Washington,and said Principal is required under the terms of the Contract to furnish
a warranty bond. Pursuant to the Contract, Principal has contracted with Road Products, Inc.(Sub-contractor), as Sub-
Contractor,to complete portions ofthe work specified in the contract for the Project. Sub-Contractor has agreed to provide a
warranty bond on behalf of Principalfor the work the Sub-Contractor completed,as required pursuant to the Contract
The Sub-Contractor, and Travelers Casualty & Surety Company of Ameriety}, a
corporation, organized under the laws of Con n e c t i c u t and licensed to do business in the State of Washington as
surety and named in the current list of"Surety Companies Acceptable in Federal Bonds"as published in the Federal Register
by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts,US.Treasury Dept,are jointly and severally held and firmly bound to the City of
Spokane Valley,as Obligee,in the sum of$11.610.90,subject to the provisions herein.
WHEREAS,the Principal,through the Sub-Contractor,is required to guarantee the work and materials as provided under the
Contract against defects which may develop during the period 4 years following the July 30,2016..
NOW THEREFORE,THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, that the Surety's obligation hereunder shall
only arise upon Surety's receipt of a copy of Obligee's written notice to Principal and Sub-Contractor setting out Obligee's
claim against Principal and Sub-Contractor. Obligee's written notice shall state the intended amount to be claimed on this
band in the event Sub-Contractor fails to commence action to cure such default within the time period specified in the notice.
A FURTHER CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH,that if Principal or Sub-Contractor shall faithfully carry out
and perform the said guarantee,and shall,on due notice,repair and make good at its own expense anyand all defects in the
work and materials which may develop during the period of 4 years following July 30,2016,or shall pay over,make good
and reimburse to Obligee all loss and damage which said Obligee shall sustain by reason of failure or default of Sub-
Contractor,then this obligation shall be null and void,otherwise shall remain in full force and effect but not later than 4 years
following July 30, 2016.. This obligation shall have no effect on any claims or obligations between Principal and Sub-
Contractor.
This bond may be executed in two original counterparts, and shall be signed by the parties'duly authorized officers. This
bond will only be accepted if it is accompanied by a fully executed and original power of attorney for the officer executing on
behalf of the surety. T
