NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
September 29, 2016, 6:00 p.m.
Notice is hereby given that the
City of Spokane Valley Planning
Commission will hold a public
hearing to receive public
testimony on the Draft Compre-
hensive Plan and development
regulations. The hearing is sched-
uled for Thursday. September 29
2016 at 6:00 p.m. or as soon
thereafter as can be heard. The
hearing will take place at City Hall
Council Chambers, 11707 East
Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley,
Washington, 99206.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The
City has prepared an update to
the Spokane Valley Comprehen-
sive Plan and development
regulations, which includes an
integrated non -project Draft
Environmental Impact Statement
(DEIS). The Comprehensive Plan
evaluates growth and land use for
a 20 year planning horizon and
the development regulations
implement the goals and policies
of the plan. The DEIS reviews
potential impacts of proposed
goals, policies, alternative land
use plans, and development
regulations at a non -project level
of analysis.
PROPONENT: City of Spokane
Valley
HEARING PROCEDURES: The
Spokane Valley Planning Com-
mission will conduct the hearing
pursuant to Planning Commission
rules of procedure. Interested
persons may testify at the public
hearing and may submit written
comments and documents before
or at the hearing. The Planning
Commission may limit the time
given to speakers. The Planning
Commission will forward a
recommendation on the proposed
draft Comprehensive Plan and
development regulations, to the
Spokane Valley City Council.

September 16, 2016 at the
