CONDITIONS
* *The traffic control plan submitted has been approved for concept only. The Contractor is responsible for determining
specific signage and layout as required by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices(MUTCD), WSDOT specifications
and Washington State modifications to the MUTCD.All devices shall conform to the MUTCD and WSDOT specifications.
* For all permits that include road obstruction the Contractor shall notify the Spokane Valley Public Information Officer(PIO)
at 509.720.5411 within 24 hours of receiving this approval. For any changes to the schedule of the road obstruction the
Contractor shall notify the PIO of the change with a minimum of 48 hour notice prior to the road obstruction. The Contractor
shall provide the location of the work, expected start and end times and dates of the road obstruction. The PIO will notify the
newspaper, school districts, Spokane Valley Police Department, or fire dispatch as necessary.
*The City of Spokane Valley may request changes as warranted by traffic conditions and motorist behavior.
* If the construction zone is open to traffic before completion of final paving the Contractor shall provide warning signs, as
required by the MUTCD and WSDOT specifications.
*WSDOT Work Zone Traffic Control Guidelines are available at www.wsdot.wa.gov. For future submittals, please use the
"Work Zone Traffic Control Plans (TC-1 —TC-18)if applicable to your project.
* Prior to excavation, it is the Contractor responsibility to contact the purveyor of any transmission pipeline that is within 100
feet of permitted work, as per RCW 19.122.033.
* * For pavement cuts, as-built drawings (using the current Inland Northwest Regional Pavement Cut Policy template)are
required to be submitted to the Right-of-Way Inspector, Scott Wallace, within 15 working days of work being completed.As-
builts shall be submitted by email (to swallace@spokanevalley.org), by Fax(509-921-1008)or by dropping off at the Permit
Center.
* *All pavement cuts within the City of Spokane Valley right-of-way shall comply with the current adopted Inland Northwest
Regional Pavement Cut Policy, or as amended.
*All pavement repairs shall be inspected by the City's ROW inspector, Scott Wallace (mobile: 509-869-5373). The
Contractor shall notify Mr.Wallace a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the paving.

The ownership of a Spokane Valley Development Permit will inure to the property owner. The permit
applicant, by definition, is the property owner or an authorized agent of the property owner. It is the
responsibility of the applicant/ permittee that the use described on the front of this permit complies with
applicable codes and that required inspections are requested. Failure to request inspections as listed
below and obtain the necessary approvals before progressing beyond the point where inspections are
required and may necessitate removal of certain parts of the construction are the applicant's/ permittee's
or property owner's expense.
