MccA-'O"Is HoI.E TRACTS SU3DIVISZC
I4r. Chaffins: Mr. Perk gandal.l had to be out of town a.nd ho asked me to ek lain
P.nythin, that was necossary to the Dla.t. (Mr. Chaffins oxplains the plat.
Ilve gone over thia very thoroughly and recommend it bo granted.
1•s. Fosseen: We ha.vo the recoamendation of 14r. Chaffins, do wo hoar a moti.on?
14r. 14oia: I move that this bo accepted.
P.fr. .gnderson: I second the motion. I~Iotion carriod.
GRARAWSA.DDI TIQId FZ i~1AI, PZ+Ai
Mr. Cameron: I represent C. V. Payne. This is another plat that is being
platted at the requeat of the Asaessoris Office. Tho water is in, the roads
aro gravaled, and I have all the signaturas. (g briaf discuesion wa$ held.)
' t,ir. Anderson: I movo that it be accepted.
Mr. t-leigs: I second the motion. thotion carriod.
ANIl.350Y WAIVER OF VIOLATiON
Mr. Graham: This is a waiver of set back. The rQSidonco is too close to the
center line of the road by two feet. The set back is 32 3/4 feet and it should
be 34 feet. It i$ at East 8006 Jackson which is a road that is very littlo
traveled out in Orchard Avenue. According to the rictures, i,t is well back of
the road. I recommond that it bo grantod.
Mr. Bionz: t-,That is the roquirod numbor of feot to bo back?
Mr. Graham: They should bo back 50 feot from the canter of the road and they
axe back 48.48 feot.
r~ir. P►icClure; I raave that it bQ granted.
I-ir. HQigs: I second the motion. Motion carried.
FOUNTA IN 1~;AIVIR OF VIOLATI0X
I'flr. Graha,m: This is a waiver of violations of set back of Paul H. Fountain on
Lily Road. Tho sot bacl; should bo 32.75 fcat and tiioy are back 30 foot. Haro
a,gain, is a similar caee. It is a vary littlo travo]od road.
Mr. .?;i enz : Ilm no t objoc t ing, but how do o g tha.t come about 4 How do thoy happon
to build too closo?
Nir. Graham: ThQy probably don it inquire to tlzo amoul-it of sot back. Thoy line
them up with the housee on Eitner side, assuming, of coursQ, that thay aro sot
bRck far enough.
I4r. rosseen: Doesnlt the pori:,it show that distanco?
i.tr. Walker : I ba li ovo the pormi t should shotv that.
IfIr. Anderson; If the buildi:zg pormit showa that dirtance, I bvlieve we wouldn't
havv any moi•v of thesc waivor of violatione out in the Valley.
Mr. IwIoigs: On the contrary, thcy will bo coming uz) for the noxt ton years.
Mr. Fovntain: The woman I bought thi s proner ty from to ld. me the pronQr ty ha.d
been survoyad and said the fQncv all the way around it aet in a foot on her
land. So I bui lt the house, and the bui ldi.ng ,iermi t didn t t s tato how fax it
should bo built from thv road. Y checked with the Pla,nning Commission, I believe
with this girl, and she told me they usod to put on the permit how far they
- shoul.d be set back from the road. Sho said they quit it for some reason or
another. I lined up with the reet of the houscs. It ahowed approximately
35 foet. I sold this, and whon the surveyors ca.ma out thvro, the steel stakc;
came up way on the far side of the fence. 7'hat is all I have to say.
14r. Bienz: Is it in line with tho othors?
tv:r. Fountain: Yt is and it isnlt. The next house I lined up to, the porch sticks
out approximatoly 2 foot cloeer to the road than my house doos. ThQ long sidv
of his house is on the bacL- side naturally, and my long side is on the back side.
So to get square with tho world, I linod up with the back sido and went back up
front and did the measuring to what I thought was far vnough from this fenco.
