This letter is in response to your request to build the house located at 4714 E 13th Ave
with a 9 foot ceiling in a partial daylight basement.
At no point can top of basement floor to the top of 1st floor exceed 12 feet at any point in
the partial daylight basement,nor can your daylight basement exceed 6 feet above grade
for more than 50 % of the total perimeter of the house
Concrete or solid masonry foundation walls shall require an engineered design if more
than 8 feet in height.
