Dear Mr . Clifton :
Our records indicate that no arrangements have been made for a gas
piping inspection at your residence located at East 12506 13th
Avenue , parcel number 22543- 1226 .
Section 2206 ( b )2 states :
"This inspection shall be made after piping authorized by
the permit has been installed and after all portions
thereof which are to be covered or concealed are so
concealed and before fixtures , appliances or shutoff
valves have been attached thereto .
This inspection shall include an air-pressure test, at
which time the gas piping shall stand a pressure of not
less than 10 pounds per square inch gage, or, at the
discretion of the building official , the piping and valves
may be tested at a pressure of at least 6 inches mercury ,
measured with a manometer or slope gage . Test pressures
shall be held for a length of time satisfactory to the
building official but not less than 15 minutes , with no
perceptible drop in pressure . . ."
We are , therefore , requesting that you contact this office within ten
days of the date of this letter to schedule this inspection .
