A1, your inquiry for a proposed paved driveway connection to
Universfty Road at the above listed address will require the
following:
1. An RID Aqreement for University Road
2. Issuance of an Approach Permit to University Road
3. Approval of paving and drainaqe plans for the proposed
driveway
I would encourage you to submit plans at your earliest convenience
to avoid delay in plari review. Drainage plans shall be prepared in
compliance with Spokane County "Guidelines for Stormwater
Management". We will also need a signed copy of our standard plan
revfew agreement, and a copy of t,he Warranty Deed for the property
for preparation of the RID docuntents.
It is also recomlaended that you contact both the Health District
arid the Planninq Department to insure compliance with t,heir
standards.

Attached for your files is a signed and notarized RID Waiver and
Agreement, in connection with the above referenced project.
Please accept my apologies for the inordinate delay in returning this
form to your office. Hopefully, the time lag won't create any
problems. Hawever, if something additional needs to be done, please
let me know. (I promise to be more timely)
On a related matter, it is my understandinq from talking with A1 Walls
from Walls Construction, that all of the plans, etc., have been
submitted to your office, and that questions raised in your letter to
Walls in mid-April (copy attached), hane all been answered.
Assuminq this is correct, and also asswninq the signed RID agreement
basically completes the file paperwork, I would appreciate your
letting me know what additional steps must be taken in order to
proceed with getting the access permit itself; I've never been
innolved in this type of matter before, so I'm a bit ignarant as to
the steps involved.
Aqain, please accept my apologies for the delay in returning the RID
Agreement; I look forward to hearing from you on the remaining steps
to complete this matter.

state law. Architect stamp must include a signature. Professional
Engineer stamps must include the current seal and expiration date
as well as siqnature and date.

approaches that will be altered. Contact Sylvia Lightfoot at the
County Engineer's Department. Approach permits for county roads
will not be issued until a site plan is approved.
Provide typical drywell and swale details as attached.
Proper sizing of drywells is required. A Type "A" drywell will
handle 5,000 sf and a Type "B" drywell will handle 15,000 sf. Use
multiples of each to provide adequate drywell structures. Bowstring
calculations to prove that the drywell type selected is sufficient
will be required if these recommended values are exceeded.
