I have reviewed the proposed changes & have agreed to the following: 1. Stop the concrete wall shown in section 4 .4/S1 at the bottom of. the W 8x18 beams. The remainder of the connection detail is to remain as shown. 2. The shorter concrete wall will allow the vertical steel in the wall to be reduced to # 4 bars @ 18" o.c. Horizontal steel is to remain as shown. 3 . Eliminate the inside concrete wall at the end where the stairs are to be located. Replace with 2 x 6 @ 24" o.c. stud wall_ Place (2) 2 x 6 studs under each of the carriage beams if they will bear there. 4_ Replace the concrete steps shown and replace with wooden steps to code.
