Dear Moses:
This building has been sold to Mr. Bezrechenko as a package and he is erecting it himself using the standard post
frame building plans prepared for Mid-Nate Construction for 30 PSF roof live (snow) load, 85 MPH wind speed,
Exposure B and Seismic Design Category C according to the 2003 International Building Code. The sidewall posts
are spaced a 12'0"a. c. and the roof will have 4:12 pitch manufactured trusses.
The plans indicate 2" x 8" DF-L #2 purlins at 24" o. c. for this post spacing and roof live load. Unfortunately, Mr.
Bezrechenko has used 2"x 6"DF-L#2 purlins, but installed them at 19.2"a. c
According to my calculations,the 2"x 6'DF-L#2 purlins installed at 19.2"o. c.for 12'bays provides the minimum 30
PSF roof live load required for buildings in Spokane Valley.This construction is approved for use.
