Subject: Woodland Terrace IC Building&Approach Permits I discussed the issue of further building & approach permits for the area south of 14th, more particularly along 16th east of Custer,with Ed Parry.The permit requests need to show how proposed driveways will meet County Standards. For lots fronting 16th Avenue, the preferred access is from 16th Avenue, not from an easement extending from the 15th Avenue cul-de-sac. As we have had a slow response from the Developer(Shuler)in finalizing the plans for 16th(Morrill to Custer) and Custer (15th to 16th), we also need to have plans for those roads submitted by the Developer and accepted by the County Engineer's Office. We will need to have a firm construction schedule and a bond in place, also. No further approach permits are to be issued by the County Engineer's Office until the road plans for 16th Avenue and Custer Street are accepted by the County Engineer's Office, and a construction performance bond and schedule are in place. All approach permits are to clearly demonstrate how County approach and driveway standards will be met.
