Dear Mr. McCormackt
In our telephone conversation last Friday afternoon, October 17, 1980"
you requested approval from the County 8ngineers on your application
for a building perm.it to erect a structure at E. 10011 Montgomery.
I stated in this conversation that there are certain conditions and
requirements that have to be met prior to apgroval of your building
permit application and plans. I am restating theae conditions and
requirements below.
l. Site plans must be submitted that show parking, on site
drainage and access to the county road. The above must
be approved by this office.
2. Certain roadway improvements are required of you as the
developer of the site. These improvements include curb,
asphalt paving and roadway drainage control all as
directed boy the Spokane County Engineer and to Spokane
County Standards.
3. A plan and profile of the proposed roadway improvements,
prepared by a licensed Professional Engineer, must be
submitted to this office and be approved for construction
prior to a permit to perform work on county road right of
way being issued for construction of any roadway improve-
ments.
4. A bond covering the cost of the required improvements
plus engineering must be filed with this office prior
to approval of your building plans and permit.

Regardless of the building permit process any required roadway im-
provements may be constructed only after a permit to perform work on
county road right of way is obtained from this office and this permit
may be issued only after plans, prepared by a licensed Profeseional
Engineer, are submitted to thia office and approved for constructione
Any deviation from this procedure would be in violation of Ghapter 9.40
, of the Spokane County Code of which a copy is inclosed.

Dear Mr. Mc Cormack:
The structural items which were lacking and were mentioned Per telephone
have been receirred. Both the steel building and the double-tee details bear
the seals of Washington State registered engineers and are accented hy our
department.

The aPproach permit as issued by the State of Washington has heen submitted '
to the Cotmt\ Engineers office for review.
The rroposed building is quite satisfactory as far as t11e Spokane Countv
Building Codes Department is concerned. TherE are ltems in the Board of County
Conenissioners Resolution ZN-152-77, that must be resolved. It is our under-
standing that you must file with the Planning Conanission for a change of
candation liearing. Some of the conditions imposed in the resolutzon do not
arpear to applv to the revised submittal. The Building Codes Department is
still bouncl by the conditions which mandatorally state; "shall hc submltted
prior to xclcase of the building permits".
