MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News
Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane
County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of
publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of
the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it was published in
regular issues commencing on the 10th day of February, 2017, and ending on the 10th day of February, 2017, all dates

the public are encouraged to review and
provide written comments on the proposal/
project and its probable environmental im-
pacts. All comments received by Monday,
March 13, 2017, which is thirty (30) calendar
days from the date of this notice, will be
considered prior to making a decision on
this project Any person may request a copy
of the decision for the proposal once made.
Pursuant to City of Spokane Valley Munici-
pal Code (SVMC)17.90 (Appeals), a written
appeal of the decision shall be filed with
the City of Spokane Valley Community Si
Economic Development Department within
fourteen (14) calendar days after the date
the notice of the decision is mailed. Stand-
ing to appeal a decision shall be determined
in accordance with the provisions of SVMC
17.90.010 (General).

for this project. The optional DNS process
in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. THIS
MAY BE YOUR ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO
COMMENT 014 THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACTS OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT.
A copy of the subsequent threshold deter-
mination for the proposal may be obtained
upon request
Existing Environmental Documents:
The applicant submitted an Environmental
Checklist for the proposed preliminary plat
pursuant to WAC 197-11-315. -
Appllcable Development Regulations:
.SVMC Title 20 (Subdivisions), Section
19.70 (Density and Dimensions), and
Section 22.130 (Streets, Sidewalks and
Public Places), the City of Spokane Valley
Street Standards, the Spokane Regional
Stormwater Manual, and the Spokane
Regional Health District regulations are the
primary development regulations applicable
to the site.
Public Hearing: The long plat is subject to
a public hearing. Separate public notice of
the scheduled public hearing date and time
will be conducted.
