Dear Mr. Finney:
Mr. King, the building inspector in your district, made another routine
inspection of your carport on February 8, 1973, to see if you had made
the corrections specified on his first inspection. ` The pads still
aren't concrete and they were neither 18" below grade nor 6" above.
Your rafters are 2x4s 24" on center with a roof pitch of 2/12. Accord-
ing to code, the maximum clear span of these rafters for 'the required
30 p.s.f. live roof load would be 5'6".
Mr. King left you notices on the job site on March 2, 1972, and again
on February 8, 1973, as to the corrections required. No inspections
have been called for by you since March 2, 1972. A final insp\action is
required by law and the structure must conform to the minimum Iuilding
code requirements.
Your permit expired on January 7, 1973. Therefore, please =Laical these
corrections as soon as possible and call for a re-inspection.
- If you have any questions, please call 456-3675 between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
Monday through Friday and ask for Mr. King. He is in the office at this
time of the morning and wintry to help you in regards to the above matter.
