Environmental Determination: The
Planning Division has reviewed the pro-
posal/project and has determined that the
project is categorically exempt pursuant to
WAC 197-11-800 and Section 11.10.070.1
of the City of Spokane Valley Interim Envi-
ronmental Ordinance from environmental
review under the provisions of the State
Environmental Policy Ad (SEPA).
Approval Criteria: Section 22.140 (Street
Vacations) of the City of Spokane Valley
Municipal Code (SVMC); Title 21 (Envi-
ronmental Controls) of the SVMC; the City
of Spokane Valley Street Standards; the
Regional StormwaterManual; and the 5pq-
kane Regional Health District regulations.
Hearing Process: The Planning Com-.
mission holds the public hearing to receive
comments and forwards a recommenda-
tion to the City Council for an ordinance.

staff report will be available for inspection
seven (7) calendar days before the hearing.
The staff report and application file may
