8. Copy of the proposed landscape plan.
B) The following improvements within adjacent Right of Way
are required prior to the release of a building permit:

The County Engineering Department has completed a review of the
above referenced project. The following information must be provided
in order for us to proceed with our review.
A) A drainage plan for the site which has been prepared in
compliance with Spokane County "Guidelines for Stormwater
Management". At a minimum the plan must contain:
1. Drainage calculations for stormwater volumes generated on
site
2. Calculations for total impervious surfaces contained within
the site.
3. Finished grade elevations for structures to be constructed
on site.
4. Finished grade elevations at the top and bottom of the 208
swale.
5. A typical cross section of the 208 swale.
6. Calculations to justify the number and type of drywells
proposed.
7. Elevation of drywell inlets where applicable.
B) The following improvements within adjacent Right of Way are
required prior to the release of a building permit:
Spokane County Board of County Commissioners Rersolution 80-
1592 and Spokane County Road Standards require that sidewalk be
constructed in association with building permits. The construction
of Spokane County Standard sidewalk along the Alki Avenue frontage is
required.
All required construction (sidewalk) within the Public Road Right of
Way is to be completed prior to the release of a building permit or a
bond in an amount estimated by the County Engineer to cover the cost
of constructiom or improvements shall be filed with the County
Engineer. .
5. Approach permits must be obtained from the County
Engineering Department for any new driveway approaches to the County
Road System. .
C) Insuff icient information was submitted with the proposal. We
are unable to proceed with our review. We will need the following
before we can proceed:

D) The owner of the property or the authorized representative
must complete and sign Spokane County Engineers "Agreement to PaY
Fees". This document must returned to the County Enqineers Office.
Plan review will not be completed until this document is executed.

completed Agreement to your contact person at the Enqineers
Department.

A. DiscussionfRequirement
1. 'Comanents were given to the applicant and Building and
Sa fety by Bob McCann.
2. Please submit a drainage plan for the site, at a
minimum the plan shall contain the following: drainage
calculations for stor•nxwater volumes generated on site,
calculations fvr total irnpervious surfaces cantained,
within the Sltei finished grade elevations for stru+ctures
to be constructed on site, finished grade ele~ations at
the top and bottom of the 208 swale, atypical cross
section of the 208 swale, calculatians ta justify the
number and type of drywells proposed, and the elevation of
drywell inlets where applicable,
3. ~~e construction of a Spokane Cvunty 5tandard sidewalk
or asphalt al,ong Alki Aventze frontage is required. It was
noted that if Alki Avenue has pavement behind the curb l
there sidewa1k installation will not be required.

III. Health District (456-6040)
A. Discussion/Requirements .
. l. * The Health District was unable to locate the sewage
records for the existing property. Please submit an .
as-built plan for the subject property showing the size
and location of the existing sewage system.
• 2. Please submit the anticipated number of employees and

number of shifts for review.
3. Please submit an updated critical materials listing to
Building and Safety for review.
4. If it is determined that the proposed-is a critical
materials user a"Sampling Agreement" which involves the
sampling of the effluent of the septic tank on an annual
basis, shall be signed and returned to the Health
District. Cost for obtaining and processing the sample shall be paid by the owner. Also a riser and ring type
lid to grade shall be in.stalled for the septic tank so
that the effluent can be sampled.
5. Al1 construction debris must be taken to a licensed
landfill.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. Please submit an as-built sewage plan for the site for
review and approval.
