FastFrame transforms LOTUS 1-2-3 into a full featured structural analysis, design, and graphics system. Full AISC code checking & selection from a 2,700 member database, structure plotting, and member analysis & graphics is provided. FastFrame models rigid frames, braced frames, trusses, and any type of two-dimensional structure. Nodes and Beams are used to define the frame's geometry and member connections. Also, "S" or "D" node restraints specify spring supports and forced displacements. Loads are applied to the frame by using the Node Load, Beam Point Load, and Beam Distributed Load areas. You can then either assign the tag or actual section label (W2lx55) to a member. Load Factors and Load Combinations are used to combine types of loads as required by building codes.
