MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News
Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane
County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of

provide written comments on the proposal/
project and its probable environmental im-
pacts. All comments received by June 12,
2017, which is thirty (30) calendar days from
the date of this notice, will be considered
prior to making a decision on this project. A
staff report shall be available for inspection
at least seven days before the scheduled
public hearing, and written comments may
be submitted at any time prior to the closing
of the record for the public hearing. Standing
to appeal a decision shall be determined in
accordance with the provisions of Spokane
Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) 17.90.010
(General).

for this project. The optional DNS process
in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. THIS
MAY BE YOUR ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO
COMMENT ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACTS OFTHE PROPOSED PROJECT.
A copy of the subsequent threshold deter-
mination for the proposal maybe obtained
upon request.
Existing Environmental Documents: The
applicant submitted a completed Environ-
mental Checklist for the proposed prelimi-
nary plat pursuant to WAC 197-11-315.
Applicable Development Regulations:
SVMC Section 19.70 (Residential Zones),
Title 20 (Subdivisions), Section 21.20
(State Environmental Policy Act), and
Section 22.130 (Streets, Sidewalks and
Public Places), the City of Spokane Valley
Street Standards, the Spokane Regional
Stormwater Manual, and the Spokane
Regional Health District regulations are the
primary development regulations applicable
to the she.
Public Hearing: The long plat action is
subject to a public hearing. Separate public
notice of the scheduled public hearing date
and time will be conducted.
