Steps in the Permit Process 1. Counter Complete. Your application has been accepted as counter complete. This means all of the required documents, as indicated on your Pre -Application Checklist have been submitted or have been approved for deferred submittal. This does not prevent technical staff from requesting additional information as a result of their technical review. 2. Quality Check. The next step in the process is a quality check to make sure that the application is reviewable and free from substantive flaws that would prevent technical staff from completing the technical review once it is started. When this step is complete, your application will be routed to the appropriate staff and remain in their review queue until it comes up for review. 3. Technical Compliance. Once an application is administratively complete, it is routed to technical staff for compliance review. Depending on the type of project, technical staff may include multiple reviewers. You should be contacted by phone, fax, email, or mail by your TARGET DATE once the initial technical compliance review is complete. 4. Permit Issuance. When the technical compliance review of the application is complete, including any subsequent re - submittals, each reviewer will approve their section of the application and route it to the Permit Center. I live at 11103 East 46I1' Avenue (Myron Estates N4 L3 B1). This building is primarily to be used for wood working tools and dead storage as our main garage is filling up. It seems like an intelligent thing to add a garage door to this building. We currently only have two vehicles and do not ever plan to use this building as parking for daily vehicle use. My property already has a chain link gate to a graveled parking area, which is where I would like to construct this shop/garage. I have attached a site plan from the documentation when I purchased the house. The building location is in red pencil on the site plane. I would like the dimensions to be 24 feet by 24 feet. It will be approximately 30 feet East from the curb line and 6 feet South from the fence line between my neighbor and myself. I am requesting a waiver to the requirement of a paved driveway to this building. This seems consistent with other garages that have been constructed around me in the past two years.
