MANSON, DIRECTOR Our District Building Inspector reports that you do have the required fence around your swimming pool as required by Title III of the Spokane County Code. Section 3.05.010 states, "All private swimming pools shall have a fence not less than four feet in height surrounding the pool or the yard... with a gate having a latch openable only from the pool side of the fence." Since a permit for the pool has been issued (81A-5537), there will be no additional charge for inspections when you are in compliance. If this matter is not resolved within ten (10) working days of the date of this letter, it will be referred to our statutory legal counsel for further legal action.
