The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 17-012 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 24th day of October,2017:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING CHAPTER 3.35, 3.40, 3.41, AND 3.42 SPOKANE VALLEY
MUNICIPAL CODE (SVMC) RELATING TO PUBLIC WORKS; AMENDING CHAPTER 3.46
SVMC RELATING TO SERVICE CONTRACTS; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING
THERETO.
Section 1 amends SVMC Chapter 3.35 to include minor grammatical edits and or other minor text edits;
Section 2 amends Competitive bidding under 3.40 SVMC; Section 3 includes amendments to Maintenance
of small works roster under 3.41 SVMC; Section 4 amends Chapter 3.42 SVMC concerning performance
and payment bonds; Section 5 amends Chapter 3.46 SVMC concerning contracts for services; Section 6
speaks to severability; and Section 7 provides for an effective date.
