Dear Mr. Postlewait:
I am writing this letter in regards to your letter con-
cerning Mr. Kienbaum's Warehouse. We are complying with
the following:
1. This is going to be for a warehouse type occupancy only.
2. Yes, the west wall will have the studs at 16 inches on
the center and 5/8 inch type "X" drywall willbe substi-
tuted for the proposed 1/2 inch type "X" drywall to main-
tain a one-hour fire rated assembly.
3. The critical materials list has been submitted for your
review.
4. Yes, exit doors will be openable from the inside without
the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort.
5. No persons will be employed, therefore this does not apply.
6. 2 x 6 x 16 Fur and Large No. 1& 2
7. Truss diagrams have already been furnished.
8. This warehouse is not to be heated.
9. We will comply with the drywall nailing and it will be
according to UBC Table 47-G.
10. This warehouse will not have automobiles stored in it.

11. Not Applicable -No flammable liquids will be stored in here.
12. Devices which generate a spark or glow capable of igniting
gasoline vapors will not be installed or used within 18
inches of the floor.
13. Yes-Draftstops will be installed so the maximum horizontal
dimension does not exceed 60 feet and attic access will be
installed when a ceiling finish is applied.

14. Yes -Anchor bolts will be embedded at least 7 inches
into the concrete as required by UBC 2907 (e).
15. I will comply -this will have a flame -spread rating
not to exceed 25 and a smoke density not to exceed
450 when tested in accordance with UBC Standard NO.
42-1.
16. Yes we will provide approved numbers or addresses
for the new warehouse. It will be plainly visible
and legible from the street or road fronting the
property.
17. Yes we will comply. The wood that comes in contact
with concrete will be of pressure treated or wood
of natural resistance to decay, as per U.B.C. Section
2516 (c)3.
18. Hurricane ties are installed on every truss.
19. Already been submitted.
20. Already been taken care of.
21. The maximum flame -spread classifications of finish
material used on interior walls and ceilings will not
exceed that set forth in UBC TableNo. 42-B.
22. Already been submitted.
23. No plumbling is involved.
