Alki Ave - Convert private driveway to public road Telephone Call: X Conference Call: Meeting: Copies: File Notes: Discussed the concerns with Mr. Cook: For the City to take over the travelway/driveway it needs to be brought up to public street standards which would include 28 feet of pavement,curb& gutter, sidewalk, stormwater facility and cul-de-sac. The driveway is in a 33 foot wide easement; right of way would need to be dedicated. It does not look like much of a possibility for a public street to happen because there does not appear to be enough room to construct the street and there isn't a location for the cul-de-sac. A possibility is if the land owner to the west sub-divided his property then there could be a sharing of the street requirements between the new sub-division and this property which might make room to build out a public street.
