As you know from our discuseion with you, the developrnent of the remaining property originally zoned under ZE-22-62 will be reviewed by our Department for building per- mit purpoaea. The Coun[y's FtQad Conatruction Program hae contained for a number of years a project to widen University Road from 4Ch Avenue south, eventually to the Dishman- Piica Road. To date, no construction funding haa been approved for the project and at least for one atate funding program, administered by the Urban Arterial Board (UAB), it will not be again considered until the 185-'87 biennium. Never-the-less, we lmow traffic demande on aouth Dniversity Road will continue to grow and we will continue ~ to seek funding necessary to construc[ the needed improveuoent. Ttierefore, in planning for a widened roadway on Univereity Road, wa would recom- mend that your deaign locate the bnilding and its aesociated drainfield with as much physical setback from the exiating road and right-of-vsy ss posaible. That type of design would be much more compatible with a future widened University roadway.
