MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News
Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane

Determination: This MDNS is issued under
WAC 197-11-340(2). The lead agency will
not act on this proposal for 14 days from
the dale issued.

Mitigation Measure:
1. The developer shall pay to the City of
Spokane Valley a voluntary mitigation fee
03 $4,208.75 for improvements to mitigate
impacts to the Pines Road corridor from
Indiana Avenue to Mission Avenue and the
Interstate 90 east -bound on ramp prior to
the Issuance of the first building permit.
Appeal: An appeal of this determination
shall be submitted to the Community &
Public Works Department within foudeen
(14) calendar days after the issued dale.
The appeal must be written and specific fac-
tual objections made to the City's threshold
determination. Appeals shall be conducted
in conformance with Spokane Valley Mu-
nicipal Cade (SVMC) 17.90 Appeals, and
any required lees pursuant to the City's
adopted Fee Schedule shall be paid at the
time of appeal submittal. Pursuant to WAC
197-11-680, appeals shall be limited to a
review of a final threshold determination.
The appeal period for this determination
will end on July 20, 2018.
