MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News
Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane
County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of
publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of
the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it was published in
regular issues commencing on the 29th day of June, 2018, and ending on the 6th day of July, 2018, all dates inclusive, and that
such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period:

2018 -0004 - Request for preliminary plat
approval to subdivide 3.75 acres into 12
residential lots. Lots greater than 10,000
square feet will allow duplex development.
Applicant/Owner: Air 23, LLC, 1102 N
Monroe 5t, Spokane, WA 99201
Location of Proposal: Tax parcel number
55182.1224; not addressed; located on the
north side of Boone Avenue approximately
300 feet east of the intersection of Boone
Avenue and Arc Street; further located to
NW 14 of the NW ,y of Section 18, Township
25 North, Range 45 East, Willamette Merid-
ian, Spokane County, Washington.
Approval Criteria: Spokane Valley Munici-
pal Code (SVMC) Title 20 (Subdivisions),
SVMC Title 19 (Zoning Regulations)•and
SVMC Title 21 (Environmental Controls),
the City of Spokane Valley Street Standards;
the Spokane Regional Stormwater Manual;
and the Spokane Regional Health District
regulations.
Hearing Process and Appeals: The Hear-
ing Examiner will conduct the hearing pur-
suant to the rules of procedure adopted in
SVMC Title 18 (Boards and Authorities). All
interested persons may testify at the public
hearing and may submit written comments
and documents before or at the hearing.
Any appeal of the Hearino Examiner's deci-
sion will be based on the record established
before the Hearing Examiner, pursuant to
SVMC 17.90 (Appeals). All hearings will be
conducted in facilities that are accessible to
persons with physical disabilities.
Environmental Determination: A Determi-
nation of Non Significance was made pursu-
ant to WAC 197-11-355 using the optional
DNS process. There is no further comment
on the environmental determination.
Staff Report and Inspection of File: A
staff report will be available for inspection
seven (7) calendar days before the hear-
ing. The staff report and application file
may be inspected at the City of Spokane
Valley Permit Center, located at the City of
Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210E Sprague
Ave, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Mon-
day -Friday, excluding holidays. Copies of
documents will be made available at a rea-
