LEGAL NOTICE MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper. Sprague Spokane Valley, WA 99206 (509) 720-5000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 18.012 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council on the 19th day of June 2018: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 19.60 RELATED TO USES PERMITTED IN THE INDUSTRIAL ZONE, AND SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 19.65 RELATED TO LODGING IN THE INDUSTRIAL ZONE, AND OTHER MAT- TERS RELATING THERETO. Section 1 states that the purpose of this Ordinance is to amend chapter 19.60 SVMC and chapter 19.65 SVMC regarding regulations for the hotel/motel use in the I zone. Section 2 sets out specific find- ings and conclusions. Section 3 amends SVMC 19.60.050 to add an "s" to the chart under Lodging for Hotel/Motel in the I zone. Section 4 amends 19.65.080 to state that hotel/motel use is allowed in the I zoning district on sites with frontage on a principal arterial and if the proposed hotel/motel use has a building 'footprint greater than 25,000 square feet, a conditional use permit pursu- ant to 19.150 SVMC is required. Section 5 states that all other provisions of Ttle 19 not specifically referenced hereto shall remain in full force and effect.
