I. General Overview The owner Gene Goben is proposinq the
construction of a 6,151 square foot addition to the west end of an
existing body shop. The applicant would like to beqin construction
as soon as possible.
II. Tom Davis stated that during a rrisit to the site it was
discovered that a floor drain was installed in the existing
building. The floor drain is directly connected to an existing dry
well. Prior to permit release for the proposed addition the floor
drain is to be re-routed directly to the sewer, a sandtrap is to be
installed, and a plumbinq permit for the re-routinq shall be
obtained.

A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Comments were qiven to the applicant and Buildfng and
Safety by Allan deLaubenfels.

2. A copy of landscapinq requirements were given to the
applicant during the meetinq. Type IV landscaping is
required to be installed in the parkinq lot area and along
the road frontaqe as per an approved landscaping plan.
3. All parkinq spaces shall be located within 60 feet of
a landscape feature consisting of at least 32 square feet
in area.
4. Parkinq as shown on the site plan is adequate.
5. The parkinq lot is to be paved.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. An estimate from a nursery includinq size, type and
quantity along with a promissory letter/bond from the
owner stating the landscapinq will be installed shall be
submitted.
2. Please submit a specific landscapinq plan for review
and approval.
II Engineerinq Department (456
A. Discussion/Requirement
1. Comment� were given to the applicant and Huilding and
Safety by Scott Egqer.
2. The drainage check print was returned to the
applicant during the meeting. Please address the comments
on the check print and return it to the Engineerinq
Department.
3. Approach permits are required for driveway approaches
along county right of way.
4. Ar� Aqreement to Pay Fees was qfven to the applicant
during the meeting. The aqreement is to be signed by the
owner and returned to the Engineerinq Department. Plan
review will not be completed until this docu�nent is
executed.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. Please address the comments on the drainage check
print and return it to the Enqineering Department.
2. An RID/CRP Aqreement Notice to Public No. 6 is
required along ist Avenue. Please submit a copy of the

recorded property deed so that the aqreement can be
prepared.
3. Pl�ase submit a copy of the Aqreement to Pay Fees
signed by the owner to the Engineerinq Department.
III. Health District (456-6040)
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Please verify that the floor drain in the existing
buildinq is re-routed from the drywell and connected to
the sewage system.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. The Health District will release their portion of the
buildinq permit when an application for a plumbinq permit
to re-route the floor drain has been submitted.
IV. Fire District No. 1(928-2462j
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Fire flow for the proposed is 5,000 g.p.m.
2. The water system servinq the property is not adequate
therefore, the fire district is requirinq that a bond in
the amount of $2,000.00 be submitted for future upgrading
of the water system.
3. The pai.nt booth in the exfstinq body shop needs to
conform to the current fire codes.
4. A lock (Knox) box entry system for fire department
personnel access fs required to be installed.
5. A letter was given the the applicant and Buildinq and
Safety by Eric Olson.
V. Building and Safety (456-3675)
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Plan review has been completed and a letter was qiven
to the applicant by Jun Mascardo.
2. Landings shall be provided on each side of a door.
3. The west wall of the proposed addition is required to
be of one-hour fire-resistive construction.

4. Two exists are required for the proposed addition
please illustrate on the site plan.
5. Please submit footinq and foundation details for the
proposed.
6. Shop drawfnqs for the structural frame shall be
submitted for review and approval.
7. Please submit a critical materials list for the
proposed to Suilding and Safety.
8. Ceilinq insulation shall be a minimum of R-30 and wall
insulation shall be a minimum R-90.
9. Plea�e provide heat loss calculations for the
proposed.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. Two complete revised sets of plans addressinq the
iteans discussed durinq and after the meeting and other
items from the plan review letter needs to be submitted
for review and approval.
COUNTY ACTION:
A RID/CRP Aqreement Notice to Public No. 6 may have been recorded
when the oriqinal project was constructed. Scott Egqer will check
into the matter and qet back to the applicant.
