3. The Planning Department has no record of a Certificate
of Exemption and one will not be required for the
proposed. However, the applicant was advised that a
Certificate of Exemption should be obtained.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. The Planning Department is ready to release their
portion of the buildinq permit.
II. Engineering Department (456-3600)
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Ccmments were given to the applicant and Building and
Safety by Bob McCann.
2. A drainage plan for the proposed is required at a
minimum the plan shall contain the following: drainage
calculations for stormwater volumes generated on site,
calculations for total impervious surfaces contained
within the site, finished grade elevations for structures
to be constructed on site, finished grade elevations at
the top anc� bottom of the 208 swale, a typical cross
section of the 208 swale, calculations to justify the
number and type of drywells proposed, and elevations of
drywell inlets where applicable.
3. The 208 swales located on the proposed property may
not be able to contain the drainage from the proposed.
B. ,Permit Release Requirements
1. Please submit a drainage plan as described above for
review and approval.
III. Health District (456-6040)

A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Please submit an updated critical materials listing to
Building and Safety for review.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. The Health District has released their portion of the
building permit.

IV. Fire District No. 1(928-2462)
1. The fire flow for the proposed is 2000 gpm.
2. The existing fire hydrant located on the site is
adequate.
V. Building and Safety (456-3675)
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. Revisions to the drawings were submitted by the
applicant.
2. The building setback for the proposed is 10'-6" to the
south property line and 5'6" to the west property line.
The window located on the west wall will need to be
relocated to comply with the requirement that no openings
are allowed within 10 feet of the property line.
B. Permit Release Requirements
1. Suilding and Safety is read�r to sign off the building
permit upon the submission of an updated critical
materials listing.
APPLICANT�S COMMENTS/ACRNOWLEDGEMENT:
The applicant acknowledged that all comments/requirements were
understood and had no further questions at this time regarding
permit requirements.

To site plans as required by any or all of the above-listed
departments shall be submitted to Building and Safety who will then

approximately 10:30 a.m. by Building and Safety's Code
Compliance Coordinator Tom Davis, with the following in

SCOPE/PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
I. General Overview Proposed is the construction of a
1,836 square foot addition to Holman Gardens Retirement
Center. The proposed project will be used for a
sitting room, a lounge which will contain a small wet
bar, and a game room which will contain a pool table.

I. Planning Department (456-2205)
A. Discussion/Requirements
l. The proposed project is part of CU 10-81 in
which a conditional use permit was issued.
2. There will be no increase of units in the 96
unit retirement center.
B. Permit R�lease Requirem�nts
1. �rhe Planning Uepartment has released their
portion of the building permit.
II. Engineering Department (456-3600)
A. Permit Release Requirements
1. The Engineers� Of f ice had no comments or
requirements for the proposed project and has
released their portion of the building
permit.
III. Health District (456-6040)
A. Discussion/Requirements
l. Daryl Way asked for clarification on the
possibility of an increase in size for the
dining and kitchen area. The applicant
stated that there would be no increase in
size for either area.
2. Daryl also stated that sewer connection for
the retirement center is in progress.
B. Permit Release Requirements
l. The Health District has released their
portion of the building permit.
IV. Utilities Department (456-3604)
A. Discussion/Requirements
1. The Utilities Department having no comments
for the proposed project was not present.
V. Building and Safety (456-3675)
A. Discussion/Requirements
l. Plan review has been completed on the
proposed project.
2. Two complete sets of revised plans need to be
submitted to Building and Safety.
3. Tom Postlewait stated that he has contacted
Fire District #1 regarding the proposed
project. He has not received any response
from them at this time.
B. Permit Release Requirements
l. Two complete sets of plans need to be
submitted for review and approval prior to
release of the building permit.

departments shall be submitted to Building and Safety who
will then distribute accordingly to those departments.
