LEGAL NOTICE MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper. Sprague Spokane Valley, WA 99206 (509) 720-5000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 18-021 passed by the Spo- kane Valley City Council on the 25th day of September 2018: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPO- KANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON AMENDING CHAPTER 2.10 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MU- NICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE CITY COUNCIL SALARY COMMIS- SION, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO. Section 1 slates that the purpose of this ordinance is to adopt amendments to chapter 2.10 SVMC relating to the creation, authority, and operation of an independent salary commission. Section 2 amends 2.10 SVMC to update the process peualning to an independent salary commission.
