15-024.09 Senske Lawn & Tree Care: Roadway Landscaping CONTRACT AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
SPOKANE VALLEY AND SENSKE LANDSCAPING SERVICE

For good and valuable consideration,the legal sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, City and the
Senske Landscaping mutually agree as follows:
1. Purpose: This Amendment is for the Contract for landscaping services along the City's Rights-of-Way
by and between the Parties,executed by the Parties on March 16,2015,and which terminates on December
31,2018 Said contract shall be referred to as the"Original Contract"and its terms are hereby incorporated
by reference. Total compensation under the Original Contract is not to exceed$53,250.00,
2.Original Contract Provisions:The Parties agree to continue to abide by those terms and conditions of the
Original Contract and any amendments thereto which are not specifically modified by this Amendment.
3. Amendment Provisions: This Amendment is subject to the following amended provisions, which are
either as follows,or attached hereto as Appendix"A". All such amended provisions are hereby incorporated
by reference herein and shall control over any conflicting provisions of the Original Contract, including
any previous amendments thereto.
Winterize the City Hall irrigation system located at 10210 E Sprague Avenue.
4. Compensation Amendment History: This is Amendment #01 of the 2018 Contract. The history of
amendments to the compensation on the Original Contract and all amendments is as follows:

APPENDIX"A"
I. Paragraph 4 (Compensation) of the Original Contract is hereby amended to change the total
compensation paid from$62,256.00,to$62,538.71. Paragraph 4 of the Original Contract is amended to
read as follows:In consideration of Contractor performing the Work,City agrees to pay Contractor in accordance
with the Contract Documents the sum of$62256.00,based on the bid submitted by Contractor(Exhibit B),and as
may be adjusted in accordance with the Contract Documents
2.The Scope of Work,(Exhibit_F,of the Original Contract, is hereby amended to include the following
additional tasks and/or services:
Consultant/Contractor shall winterize the City Hall sprinkler system.

Is this a prevailing wage job? If so,due to the recent prevailing wage increase the
price for the winterization would be$259 and the lawn app at$213.02. If you
would like us to proceed we would need a contract or signed agreement.
