Herald, ,; weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the chic ul publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane
Ceunl - \A'ashington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of
publication or said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of
the State of W!'ashiugton in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it was published in
regular issues commencing on the 2lst day of December, 2018, and ending on the 4th day of January, 2019, all dates inclusive,
and that such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period:

Notice of Public Hearing
The Spokane Valley City Council will con-
duct a public hearing on Tuesday, January
8, 2019, beginning at 8:00 p.m., or as soon
thereafter as practical. The purpose of the
public hearing is to receive public testimony
on proposed amendments to the Spokane
Valley Municipal Code 19.70.050, spe-
cifically 19.70.050(G): In mixed-use zones,
"projects with residential components,
shall provide 210 square feet of open
space per dwelling unit conforming to the
requirements of SVMC 19.70.050(F)." The
proposal is to delete SVMC 19.70.050(G)
and the 210 square foot open space require-
ment. The public hearing will be held in City
Council Chambers, 10210 East Sprague
Avenue. Spokane Valley WA, 99208. NO-
TICE: Individuals planning to attend the
meeting who require special assistance to
accommodate physical, hearing, or other
impairments, please contact the City Clerk
at (509) 720-5102 as soon as possible so
that arrangements may be made.
