The City of Spokane Valley Planning
Commission is scheduled 10 hold a public
hearing on April 11, 2019 at City Hall,
10210 East Sprague Avenue, at 6:00 p.m.,
to receive public testimony on the follow-
ing proposal.
File Number: CTA -2019-0001
Deecriptlon of Proposal: The proposed
amendment is a City -initiated text amend=
ment to the Spokane Valley Municipal Code
(SVMC) adding Chapter 22.135 establishing
the procedural standards to assign address-
ing for property identification within the
City. Addressing definitions will be added
to SVMC Appendix A.
Proposal Location: This is a non -proj-
ect action, city-wide amendment to the
SVMC.

East Sprague Avenue; Spokane Valley,
WA 99206
Hearing Procedures and Appeals: The
Spokane Valley Planning Commission will
conduct the hearing pursuant to Planning
Commission rules of procedure. Interested
persons may testify at the public hearing
and may submit written comments and
documents before or at the hearing. The
Planning Commission may limit the time
given 10 speakers. The Planning Commis-
sion will forward a recommendation on the
proposed amendment to the Spokane Valley
City Council. Appeals shall be pursuant to
SVMC 19.90 Appeals
Environmental Determination: Spokane
Volley, acting as the Lead Agency, issued
a Determination of Non -significance (DNS)
on March 22, 2019 pursuant to WAC 197-
11-340 (2). The 14 -day appeal/comment
period expires on April 5, 2019.
Staff Report and Inspection of File: A
staff report will be available to inspection
seven (7) calendar days prior to the hear-
ing at Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210
East Sprague Avenue, between 8:00 am
and 5:00 pm, Monday -Friday, excluding
holidays. Please send written commends
