APPLEWAY TRAIL -EVERGREEN TO
SULLIVAN ROAD PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that the City
of Spokane Valley, Spokane County,
Washington will accept sealed bids
for the Appleway Trail -Evergreen
Road to Sullivan Road Project.
The project consists of grading;
sidewalk and curb construction;
hot mix asphalt; signal
installation; illumination; irriga-
tion; landscaping; channelization;
signing, prefabricated restroom,
side sewer, and park amenities, all
in accordance with the Contract
Provisions and Plans.

specifications and plans may be

documents. Any addenda to this

All bids must be accompanied by a
bid deposit in the form of a surety
bond, postal money order, cash,
cashier's check, or certified check
in an amount equal to five percent
(5%) of the amount of the bid
proposed. Failure to furnish a bid
bond in compliance with the City's
bid deposit surety bond farm shall
make the bid non-responsive and
cause the bid to be rejected.
Bids must be submitted in sealed
envelopes addressed to the City
Clerk of the City of Spokane Valley,
10210 E. Sprague Avenue, Spokane
Valley, Washington, 99206 and
received not later than 10:00 a.m.
PDT, Friday, July 19, 2019. Bid
openings will be held immediately
thereafter and read aloud in the
City Council Chambers.
The City of Spokane Valley reserves
the right to waive any irregularities
or informalities and to reject any or
all bids..Me bidder may withdraw
his bid atter the time announced
for the bid opening, or before the
award and execution of the
contract, unless the award is
delayed for a period exceeding sixty
(60) days.

accordance with Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252,
42 USC 2000d to.2000d-4 and Title
49, Code of Federal Regulations,
Department of Transportation,
Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary,

issued pursuant to such Act,
hereby notifies all bidders that it
will affirmatively ensure that in any
contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged
