VERA WATER & POWER
AREA LIGHTING AGREEMENT
The District will install, own and maintain the facilities for supplying dusk to dawn
lighting continuous throughout the year at a mutually agreeable location. Repairs
and maintenance work will be performed by the District during regularly scheduled
working hours.
If the property owner desires the light(s)to be moved, all costs of such moving will
be borne by the property owner. Service may be terminated at the property
owner's request and by the property owner paying the cost of removal. If the area
light has been in a location of 10 years or more, the removal of the area light will
be completed with no charge.
The applicable rate for such service shall be the one currently in effect and is subject
to change.
The property owner agrees to exercise reasonable care in preventing damage to
the light(s) and agrees to notify the District when the light(s) is not operating.
