MICHAEL HUFFMAN being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that he is the EDITOR of the Spokane Valley News
Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior
to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane
County. Washington. and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of
publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of
the State or Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it was published in
regular issues commencing on the 23rd day of August, 2019, and ending on the 27th day of September, 2019, all dates
inclusive, and that such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period:

Tourism in Spokane Valley
The Spokane Valley Lodging Tax Advisory
Committee (SVLTAC) was established by
the Spokane Valley City Council in ac-
cordance with state law, to advise and
recommend to the City Council how excise
taxes on lodging collected in Spokane
Valley should be allocated in order to best
increase tourism in the City. The purpose
of this Request for Grant Proposal is to
solicit proposals from those non-profit and
municipal agencies which encourage tour-
ism in 2020 in Spokane Valley. Each entity
responding should develop projects which
meet requirements and increase tourism in
the City of Spokane Valley.
Complete copies of the "Lodging Tax Grant
Application" may be obtained on the City's
webpage at www.spokanevalley.org or by
contacting Sarah Farr at sfarr@_spokaneval-
leyorg or at 509-720-5041. Proposals,
including any presentation materials,
must be received no later than 4:00 p.m.
October 4, 2019. Please deliver seven-
teen (17) unbound, hole -punched copies
of the completed application, presentation
materials and any additional attachments
to: City of Spokane Valley, Attn: Sarah 'Farr,
Finance Department, 10210 E. Sprague.
Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99206. Im-
portant Note: Proposals received alter the
above -stated date and time, even if mailed
earlier, will NOT be accepted.
