The Local Agency of City of Spokane Valley desires to supplement the agreement entered in to with David Evans and Associates,Inc. and executed on August 24, 2017 and identified as Agreement No. 17-108 All provisions in the basic agreement remain in effect except as expressly modified by this supplement. The changes to the agreement are described as follows: Section 1, SCOPE OF WORK, is hereby changed to read: See attached Exhibit A-1,Scope of Services; I I Section IV, TIME FOR BEGINNING AND COMPLETION, is amended to change the number of calendar days for completion of the work to read: no changes III Section V, PAYMENT, shall be amended as follows: This supplement requests the City authorize release of$10,383.79 of the MRF for extra work associated with Task 8,as detailed in the attached Exhibit A-2.The total authorized contract amount will remain$2,496,981.01. as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part of this supplement. (DEA) will provide additional services for surveying for the Barker Road/BNSF Grade Separation improvements (PROJECT) under the direction of the City of Spokane Valley (CITY). ii. DETAILED TASK DESCRIPTION The following sections were established in Supplement No. 3, to implement the Phase II work and will be utilized for Supplement No. 6 as well. Extra work added to an existing task will be identified with an "additional work' description. TASK 8 TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYING AND BASEMAPPING — DEA 8.2 Topographic Survey & Mapping 8.2.1. Topographic Surveying — additional work DEA will perform the following additional topographic surveying, as shown in the image below. Barker Road southern tie-in: The CITY's Barker Road Widening project was constructed after DEA performed the existing conditions topographic surveying and basemapping. To accurately capture the `existing condition' of Barker Road for the PROJECT roadway and shared use path design, DEA will as-built survey the roadway pavement, curb/gutter, shared use path, and utilities. The surveying limits include 60-ft wide right of way and approximately 750 linear feet along Barker Road.
