Description of Work:
Provide on-call surveying services in accordance with Exhibit A-1 involving setting permanent control
and determining channel cross-sections every 50-feet of Chester Creek,station 10+00 to 66+00 as shown
on the plans from the"Chester Creek Channel Improvements,Thorpe Road to Schafer Road"dated
8/4/1997.
Points collected should include at least the following:
o Top of bank elevations and the offsets from horizontal stationing.
G All intersects along the cross section that indicate a greater than 5%change in slope and where
the side slope intersects the channel bottom.
6 Thalweg,or the lowest point along the channel cross-section.
o Collect elevations at each culvert invert.
