substance abuse treatment facility for 64
patients. The facility will also include a
walk-in Medical and Mental Health Clinic.
The project is defined as an Essential Public
Facility in accordance with chapter 19.90
Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC)
and deemed as having local significance by
the Spokane County Board of Commission-
ers in Resolution No. 2018-0771.

prior to making a decision on this project. A
staff report shall be available for inspection
at least seven days before the scheduled
public hearing, and written comments may
be submitted at anytime prior to the closing
of the rocord for the public hearing. Standing
to appeal a decision shall be determined in
accordance with the provisions of SVMC
17.90.010 (General).

MAY BE YOUR ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO
COMMENT ON THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACTS OF THE PROPOSED PROJECT.
A copy of the subsequent threshold deter-
mination for the proposal may be obtained
upon request.
Applicable Development Regulations:
SVMC Title 19 (Zoning Regulations), Sec-
tion 21.20 (Stale Environmental Policy Act),
SVMC Title 22 (Design & Development
Standards) and Section 22.130 (Streets,
Sidewalks and Public Places), the City
of Spokane Valley Street Standards, the
Spokane Regional Stormwaler Manual,
and the Spokane Regional Heakh District
regulations are the primary development
regulations appiidable to the site.
Public Hearing: The conditional use permit
request is subject to a.public hearing. Sepa-
rate public notice of the scheduled public
hearing date and time will be conducted.
