The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.20-001 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 18th day of February, 2020:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
AMENDING THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE 22.110.080 RELATED TO SIGN
STANDARDS IN THE AESTHETIC CORRIDOR, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this Ordinance is to amend 22.110.080 SVMC allowing wall signs on
properties adjacent to Aesthetic Corridors within the City of Spokane Valley. Section 2 sets out certain
Findings and Conclusions. Section 3 amends 22.110.080 to include wall mounted signs in aesthetic
corridors. Section 4 speaks to severability,and Section 5 provides for an effective date.
