The City of Spokane Valley Planning
Commission is scheduled to hold a public
hearing on March 26, 2020 al City Hall,
10210 East Sprague Avenue, at 6,00 p.m.,
to receive public testimony on the follow-
ing proposal.
File Number: CTA-2019-0005
Description of Proposal: The City Initiated
code text amendment will provide minor
modifications to Title 20 of the Spokane
Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) (including
but not limited to submittal requirements,
required signatures, alterations modifying
a public dedication and minor grammatical
changes).
Proposal Location: This Is a non -project
action, not applicable.
Applicant: City of Spokane Valley; 10210
East Sprague Avenue; Spokane Valley,
WA 99206
Hearing Procedures and Appeals: The
Spokane Valley Planning Commission will
conduct the hearing pursuant to Planning
Commission rulesof procedure. Interested
persons may testify at the public hearing
and may submit written comments and
documents before or at the heating. The ;-
Planning Commission may limit the time •
given 10 speakers. The Planning Commis-
sion will lorwam a recommendation on the
proposed amendrnenttothe Spokane Valley
City Council. Appeals shall be pursuant to
SVMC 19.90 Appeals
Environmental Determination: Spokane
Valley, acting as the Lead Agency, issued
a Determination of Non -significance (DNS)
on January 10, 2020 pursuant to WAC 197-
11-340 (2). The 14-day appeal/comment
period expired on January 24, 2020.
Staff Report and Inspection of File: A
stall report will be available for inspection
seven (7) calendar days prior to the hear-
ing at Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210
East Sprague Avenue, between 6:00 am
and 5:00 pm, Monday -Friday, excluding
holidays. Please send written comments
