Notice is hereby given that the City of Spo-
kane Valley, Spokane County, Washington
will accept sealed bids for the Adams Rd
Sidewalk Inlill project. The project consists
of new sidewalk constructed between 16th
and 22nd Ave in addition to the replacement
of drywalls within the project limits, all in
accordance with the Contract Provisions
and Plans.
Copiesof the bid packet including specifi-
cations and plans may be obtained in PDF
format at www.cityetspokanevalleYalan-
room.com. To be added to the Planholder's
list, bidders shall download project files
or purchase hard copy documents. Any
addenda to this project will be sent only 10
those listed on the wwwcityolspokanetal
leyplanroom.com Planholder's List. The
Planholder's List is also available at this

All bids must be accompanied by a bid
deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal
money order, cash, cashier's check, or certi-
tied check In an amount equal to live percent
(5%) of the amount of the bid proposed.
Failure to furnish a bid bond in compliance
with the City's bid deposit surety bond form
shall make the bid non -responsive and
cause the bid to be rejected.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes
addressed to the City Clerk of the City of
Spokane Valley. 10210 E. Sprague Avenue,
Spokane Valley, WA, 99206 and received
not later than 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time,
Friday, March 20, 2020. Bid openings will
be held immediately thereafter and read
aloud in the City Council Chambers.
The City of Spokane Valley reserves the
right to waive any irregularities or infor-
malities and to reject any or all bids. No
bidder may withdraw his bid after the time
announced for the bid opening, or belare the
award and execution of the contract. unless
the award is delayed fora period exceeding
sixty (60) days.

Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C.
§§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regula-
tions, hereby notifies all bidders that It
• will affirmatively ensure that any contract
entered into pursuant to this advertisement,
disadvantaged business enterprises will be
afforded full and fair opportunity to submit
bids in response to this invitation and will
not be discriminated against on the grounds
of race, color, or national origin in consider-
ation for an award.
